what is a good, remote start? i dont need and alarm system i just want the remote start. what is a good one, that wont cost an arm and a leg?

Good and arm and leg usually go together.

I have cliffords on both me Lexus' .one with 2 way paging alarm and remote starter both were not cheap.

Clifford and viper are now the same company.

Anythign where you get a good installer and after sales support is needed.
