LexKid630
Looking for some chrome rims for the rx300, the SAME EXACT shape and size as standard just in a chrome finish. Looked on ebay and found these. Are these any good? This requires me to send them what i have now and they give me them in chrome. Tell me what you think before i do anything. This seems to good to be true in my opinion. Will these last? Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-Lexus-RX...sspagenameZWDVW

Even with a 3 year warranty, if the job is not done properly, you could come out on the short end of the stick over the long haul. The only other alternative I am aware of is the following link. http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetail.asp?...ubCategoryID=19 I can't at all vouch for the quality control here either. It just happens to be the only other place I've seem original factory wheels in chrome. This is a bit more pricey of an alternative than what you have found, however. Best of Luck. LexKid630
Thanks, I'm not sure what to do.. :( That's a BIG difference in $$$ LOL My old rx300 was a coach edition and came with chrome wheels. They looked great!! Since this rx300 will be my daughter's and she'll be keeping it until she can buy her own car ( a long time LOL) i thought chrome rims would be a nice christmas gift LOL I guess teenagers are really attracted to nice rims, i can see why! I have NO CLUE what is a good deal. $500 for all 4 vs. $400 for just ONE?? I must be missing something... :(
COZ
You get what you pay for. I suppose that is why you own 5 Lexi. $1200-1500 for a set of chrome wheels in normal. $400-$500 for a set... I'd pass that up. They are probably inferior quality and safety. I have heard of cheap wheels failing and literally breaking off at the spokes. jgr7
Looks like your not paying for rims only chrome. Thats why the exchange. Maybe one of the members in So Cal can check these guys out and let you know if they are good. Here is a link for the same guys for rims without exchange. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-Lexus-RX...itemZ8000225961 The guys feedback looks good also. TunedRX300
Talking about risky, 99.4% positive feedback sounds good to me. How many Lexus dealer can claim 99.4% positive rating?
COZ
Regarding my earlier post. I saw Ebay and a low price and just assumed they were cheap wheels and not chrome plating of OEM wheels. So, for $633.00 total and that includes shipping both ways.... I'd say why not. Worst case they peel after the 3 year point. Best case you have great looking chrome wheels at a low price. Again, my appologies for my earlier post.
