jschunke
My Dad's '93 LS400 drains batteries. That's accepted. For the times that the car sits for a few weeks I rigged this battery tender connection. Mind you that there's no way I can get him to pop the hood. This has to be easy for him to connect. lenore
If the car sits outside why don't you get one of the on dash solar trickle chargers and plug it into the twelve volt system..

jschunke
An on-dash solar charger would have been ideal, but the car is garaged mostly. I'm concerned of any safety issues. The connector does have a decent cap, not sure if it's weather proof.
