sho1 Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 Hello all, I have looked through different forums, but no one seem to have this problem. I have a 99 RX 300 with 100,000 miles. The exhaust gasket between the downpipe and the cat went bad for about 3 months, I just replaced it. The car is quiet once again :) But, here's the problem... during part throttle... the acceleration is normal, but if I floor the gas pedal... the power would suddenly decrease and the acceleration becomes sluggish... if I let go half-way, the power comes back.... What can be the problem? Please help! ← Hello, Since you had a bad gasket where you indicated I think I would have the Cat. convertor checked at a muffler shop.
