94 Seat Belt And Stereo Ghost

Hoop

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. I believe in ghosts, but I'm not convinced they haunt cars, so any thoughts on what might be causing the electrical glitch connecting the power on/off cycling of my stereo with a slight jerking in the electric height adjustable driver's side seat belt?

It is a factory stereo and completely unmolested car from an electrical standpoint.

Thanks for your time.

Ben

Just curious by your tag name, and first name. Did you go to KU back in the 90's by chance? Murs?

Sorry man, I haven't a clue on your electical problem.

No... the tag name is from Hoopajoob as in South Park the TV show. I think it was episode 1 where Cartman was abducted.

Thanks for the earlier advice on the place across from Snoopys. I had forgotten about them. I know the owners son pretty well.

What year is your LS?

I would think if you have active restrainsts (meaning the belts pull back on occupants in an accident), I know mine ugs lightly when i shut off the car with them still buckled otherwise it is just a little tick noise.

You may have a weak battery/alternator or a wiring problem
