piggyncsu Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 i went through a car wash today and found out that the moonroof has a leak in my 92 es300. the outer seal rim on the actual glass seems to not fit correctly anymore. anyone know how to fix something like that (i know its a hard description to understand)
NeiLtYmE Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 its prolly just an alignment problem .... just ask the dealership ... its probably that.... dont you just hate problems that absolutely need the involement of a dealership ....
SKperformance Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 there are a few screws to reposition the sunroof but it also need shims if there is a height adjustment needed
piggyncsu Posted July 11, 2003 Author Posted July 11, 2003 just great. adding the moonrood to the list too ;) im gonna spend all my money on this darn car..and its only worth $5k at the most. just dandy.
steviej Posted July 12, 2003 Posted July 12, 2003 the rubber gasket around the moonroof is replaceable too. I have done a couple myself (however, not Lexus.....yet). steviej
