Accessing Res Source Audio/video

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to confirm, but it seems like you can't access the RES "video" source on the front screen or main audio speaker system. Has anyone figured out a way to do so?

I hooked up a video game system to the RES using the rear audio/video jacks and I can get the video to display on the rear flip-down screen with audio coming through the wireless headphones.

I just can't seem to get the video game to appear on the front screen (by pressing the "Disc" button twice on the front audio system, with the car in park & the parking brake on and selecting "video" as the source) or the video game's audio to play on the main speakers.

I was able to get a DVD to appear on the front screen with audio coming through the main speakers while at the same time a video game was displayed on the flip-down screen & its audio coming through the wireless headphones.

Thanks,

Mike

I would like to know this as well. When I saw those RCA jacks in the cargo area, I thought it would be perfect for hooking up an iPod, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the sound over the main sound system either...
