Get the MXV4s they're much better suited to the ES than the Exaltos which are more for sporty sedans. I just put the MXV4s on mine and they transformed the ride, excellent tires.

Hello,

Here is the story. When I bought this car @131,000, I put all new tires on it.

I bought them from Sears.

These tires were under a 50,000 miles warranty. Within six months I put 24,000 miles and the tires were not looking good so I requested that they replace them. They gave me $51.00 credit for each tire and charged me $122.00 for the new tires. So I went ahead and changed them.

I asked sears for tires that you had mentioned, but they don't carry in H rated.

Thanks for input, but it's too late.

No problem. Best of luck & the Triple Treads actually do come in H speed rating in your 15" size.....Sears may not have had them in stock, but they could have ordered them. ;)

The MXV4s are better suited to the car than the XGTs which are a sportier, higher performance tire. The MXV4s will last longer and be quieter.

Agreed. ;) If I had to choose between those two specifically I'd go with the MXV4's.

aren't they discontinued?

XGT's I think you can still get......at least according to the tirerack site anyways. B) But they are getting 'long in the tooth'.
