Where Is The Ignition Control Module

Where is the ICM located, and is this something I can just plug in myself?

I was told I was going to need one soon.. so I bought one.. going to take the old one out and put in the new one

in case someone reads this further.. the ICM is about a foot behind the passenger headlight under a black snapon box.. very easy to get to and unplug.. there are two ICM's.. and the least expensive ones I found were at Pep Boys.. at $224 each.
