rhack1 Posted July 7, 2003 Share Posted July 7, 2003 Hi...just bought a used Lexus hitch for my 1999...what a great quality hitch -- definitely recommend searching out one used...I'm trying to get some details on the hardware kit that originally comes with the hitch...My local dealer is drawing blanks...I know that the hitch requires (6) Grade 8 bolts (3 each side) and that they are 10mm...Does anyone have any specs?...Are they attached to the frame's frame-nuts with just a washer or a washer and lock washer?...My lexus parts guy says i cannot order the hardware kit separately...not sure of the washer size (diameter) or whether lock washers are called for...also, does anyone have the installation instructions they can scan and/or send me?...I want to do this right!...if anyone has the lexus installed hitch can you look under your car and advise if it's attached with or without a lock washer?...thx...Rob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
