LOTS of great info skikayaker, thanks for the helpful thread. Just installed two 10-inch subs and amp in the back leaving all the rest of the factory audio intact. My beef is I would describe the base as "boomy" and I get weird "thunder-like" sounds when there doesnt appear to be any bass in that part of the song. I listen mainly to alt rock. Anyways, the sub/amp is hooked up through one of those cheap adapters, rca to factory I think. maybe I should try a line converter? Techs played with the sub settings but it still just doesnt sound quite right. I had this in my Explorer with an aftermarket head unit and it sounded GREAT, very tight. any clues, suggestions guys? thanks ;)

I am in the same boat with a 99 with 45k on it. Funny, my exhaust had to be serviced as well, was leaking. Anyways, would be interested to hear what recommendations maybe lexus guy would have. Changed oil, tranny, coolant was fine. brakes will need new rear pads soon. other than that running like a top. very happy :D

great trade in % and price. My local dealer has impressed the heck out of me as well. I bought a used 99 and they took nearly $6k (25k down to 21k) off very easily. Not like I was going to pay 25, but I felt like 21 for a certified with 40k on it was a good deal.

this guy sells pre cut tint, just tell him you want the silver to match the back. like $15 or something: xtremeprecut@yahoo.com just order the whole vehicle for myself ($39). Factory tint is inside glass I am told. hope this helps

was told by the dealer today that the exact wheel tire combo on the new rx330s should work on older 300s. I was eyeballing them myself, nice wheels. I was quoted $1000 even from capitalwheels.com I believe.
