Anyone Have An Xm Myfi?

Where and how did you mount it inside your car? I was planning on using the swivel mount but there is no place that I could put it... except on the left side of the passenger air bag which would be dumb.

I have the XM MyFi currently in my 2002 4Runner, infront of the cupholders underneath the radio attached with double sided tape. i used the vent mout until it broke when i went over a speed bump too fast. :chairshot:

The vent mount isn't flimsy really, i guess i just put a lot of force on it when i hit the speedbump.

If you want to be able to move it easily, try getting velcro and attaching it to where you want on the dash. It doesn't stand out too much if you find color coordinating velcor. I have seen dark blue, black and tan.

I'm going to mount the whole car kit thing so the myfi can be snapped in and out easily. I'll be going somewhere tomorrow for some sheet metal so I can try making a bracket. I'll post some pics if it all works out.
