Sc430 Shift Lever

my shifter intermitantly sticks in park and cannot be moved into any gaer.

the only way to fix this on the road is to take the small black access cover off - it's on the console upper left of the shifter - and use a pen or small screwdriver to depress the small white override button.

this went into service and they replaced the entire shifter mechanism last week, but it is still sticking occasionally.

my sc430 only has 12,000 miles, and this should not be happening

any help would be appreciated thanks

Probably a bad brake light switch.

Did you add anythign like a remote starter?
