Geo Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 OK, I got a 99 Corolla that has developed a odd problem. I know, I know this is a Lexus forum and how dare I pollute the forum but I figured your all smart and since Toyota is the poor relative maybe you could help. The seat belt light does not go off once belts are buckled and stays off when they are not. The lights are working backwards ! also have not had a buzzer for them for a while. Annoying as heck. Ideas ? George
SKperformance Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Either a short ,or the buckle is messed up. It may be dirty.
Toysrme Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 A wire shorting, or a faultly triggering switch / relay. Join ToyotaNation.com and ask there.
Geo Posted July 12, 2005 Author Posted July 12, 2005 Thanks Toy. I posted over there. If I pull the belt out two feet the light goes off. I think there is a switch behind the plastic by the belt. I'll pull it out to check. Geo
