Ignition Key Won't Turn

i have lx470 2001 - By mistake i took the key out from ACC location at the ignition(Lock - ACC - start). Now i am not able to turn the key in either direction as if it is jammed at the location. it seems as if some anti-theft system got turned on. nothing is working - also tried moving the steering back and forth - All i can do is just insert key in and out.

the tumbler is screwed.

I think someone else had the problem on another car and had to get a locksmith.

you could try lubing the cylinder with the key in to loosesn the dirt holding the tumblers.
