Its Gone!

My 2000 RX300 is gone. It was a fully loaded AWD with every option except the hitch. It had front and rear brush guards. It had 79K was black and had a few dents, was keyed up a little. It did run great. I just had the rear main seal replaced at Lexus. It sold for $16.5K The people who bought it were extremely happy. I picked up a 1999 ML320 with 57k for $14.2k. I am also extremely happy. It turns out I'm really a Mercedes man. Lexus wasnt really my thing, although my wife loved it.

It's a good thing you sold the rx300 at 79k miles! My 1999 transmision went at exactly 79k miles.

About the mercedes? oh well lol ;)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you checked with Consumer Reports before buying the Mercedes, you'd have seen its poor reliability rating, especially when compared to almost any Lexus.

Ah well, as long as you are aware of the problem areas.......
