AWJ Posted July 1, 2003 Share Posted July 1, 2003 Make sure the factory alarm system is not activated. Deactivate it by manually locking and unlocking the driver side door. Make sure the battery has a charge. The battery in the key should not affect the starting of the car unless the starter cut is active off of the alarm.
