TexGX Posted May 13, 2005 Share Posted May 13, 2005 I would like to add 12v plug to the cargo area. I find myself needing to run wires to the plug up front. The regular plug is ok, but I would use the 12v more. Just wanted to see if anyone has added a 12v plug? Can I tap into the power going to the current plug? Good Luck... ← Lonewolf69. I have tried that, but the set up does not work. I asked the guys at Radio Shack and they said you can not convert 12 to 110 back to 12. I pulled off the rear panel last weekend and could not find any 12v source to tap into. It looks like I will have to run a source from the fuse box. I want a nice clean look by adding a plug. Plus the guys at Radio Shack said it would not work. I just need a good 12v source to tap into, or directions on the best way to run power from the fuse box and hide all the wires.
