Good Bye My Acura, Good Bye.....

Well I only owned it for a short while, but now it is going. I ended up selling it at a $600 loss- only months after I sold my 90 LS400 at a $1000. loss. What is the matter with me? I buy these cars and they start having problems.

The Acura ended up needing axles, front windshield cracked rapidly, brake rotors/pads, and the passenger rear door glass mysteriously shattered.

The repairs would have been about $800 and I did not see putting that much into a car with 197K miles. I thought it would be better to sell it to someone capable of doing the work themselves for a lot less $.

I think I am going to try to find another Toyota Camry, or perhaps even a Lexus ES250/300.

I saw my old LS400 the other day. Everytime I see it going down the road- I regret selling it. <_<

That's weird about the glass shattering! Have you considered leasing a new Camry or Accord? It seems like a lease would suit you perfectly! ;) At any rate, good luck in finding a replacement!

I don't think that you should consider them as loss because you did use the cars for a long time.............compare that to if you were renting a car.

What happened to the search for the 1998-2000 LS400s?

Are you still considering that option?

Good luck selling. I remember back when I was looking for one- they were still commanding very high prices. After I got mine and wanted to sell it- they were giving them away.

i'm selling my legend as well, let me know if you want it:)
