I am wondering how important to have isulation under hood?

mine is breaking a part, i asked dealer for new, price is ~$220.

if it is important, then who have better price?

odd, mine is 15 years old and is fine...but i would imagine home depot would have some similar high heat insulation...

Adding vents helps but once i modified the grille by opening the grille up it cools much better now as the temp gaueg atests too.
