pearlwhite97ES Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 hi, i know its been talked about alot but i cant find anything directly on draining the coolant from the block and radiator on a 97 es 300. If someone has step by step procedure and pictures it would help alot. I also heard that air can get in this system too, anyone know how to prevent this? my coolant is brown dont think its a toyota color just seens to be rusty. i wanna do a full flush and fill
Lexusfreak Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Use factory coolant (red or Pink......pink is extended life) & distilled water. B) Not sure the step by step procedure however. B)
Toysrme Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 The radiator has a drain plug on the bottom of it, or you can just take the lower radiator hose off. The engine drain is on the back of the block (firewall side). You have to be under the car to open it.
