Just a thought guys...

Instead of melting and prying the lights open. Wouldnt it be possible to just get a stanly knife to them, and cut the seal open, and then when finished, reseal it with new stuff all together?

Just a thought, let me know what you think?

Just another quick one.. On the stock ES wheels.. In the centre of the nuts, you guys would have little Lexus badges.. But on mine I have Toyota ones.. I know they actually come off, but how do you get them off?

smack them with the butt of a hammer from the back side. They should just pop out. Look to see if there is a tiny hex screw first.

PS, you can buy replacement ones that have the L.

www.lexus-parts.com look under wheels, they are called center caps.

the knife would not work as the light has a fold of plastic covering the ureathane

the emblems are easy to get on a new set of caps

i think i have a set left over inchrome

if you want to buy them

by the way how much did you get you emblem set for?

and where

I got my Chrome Emblem Set for $51 on auction on ebay....

How much were you looking to part with the wheel badges for? Are they for the stock 15" rims?

they are the stock 15 ones

but shiping from canada might be crazy

since it is the whole cap and about the size of

12x6x6 inches to fit all 4 with some padding

since emblems can be put in a small flat package

instead

He he he..

Not after the whole wheel. I am only after the small emblems that go into the centre of the wheel. They are just a few inches in size. I will take a picture of my Toyota ones and let you see what I mean.. If you know what I am talking about. Give us a price. Also, as for shipping. I have had my chrome emblem set sent from the States, and postage only cost me 10 bucks... I custom made my L badge for my steering wheel. will take a pic of that also...

For bbsal: I know that if I had the time and the tools. I would be able to make the wheel badges myself.. But here in Japan, I have no room to keep anything, so dont have the tools I want to do what I want to do with my old ones in making new ones.. Think I will just look to getting a set.. But I am thinking of changing my rims at the momment.. So still undecided?

yah check that place stevie mentioned

and i know wat you meant don't worry just the center caps that pop off the wheel

only problem is if removed the emblems then they would be useless
