Customized Wheels

Recommended Posts

My GS300 rides really smooth even on bumpy roads - ou la-la! :o

I'd like to get some 20" wheels however, I wonder if this will have a negative effect on the suspension mechanism - even after the adjustments.

Please advise

I'm not sure what "adjustments" you are referring too, but keep in mind that the shorter you make your sidewall, generally speaking, the stiffer your ride is going to be!! it's not a huge difference, but it is something that you notice.....

There is a great wheel and sidewall calculator on the 'net. Try a search for it using www.google.com

That will help you keep your rotation size close to stock. That will make it so you will not throw off your speedo. Thing is you are going from 17s to 20s correct? That is plus 3 so you are going to effect your speedo. It will show a slower speed than what is actual ;D

Suspension wise you should be fine. You should get the car aligned after they are installed to keep within the stock camber and toe settings. That will also help you with tire wear.

What rims are you looking for?
