Bwilliams
1991 LS400, tried to close my trunk the other day. IT won't shut. I looked at the hinge thing and it seems to be a bit worn. But I have to fix it ASAP in case of rain. I obviously probably need a new part. However, I can't get the plastic housing off of it. Any suggestions? -Kurt
Lexls
Maybe the latch accidentally got knocked shut....it happens on my dad's Acura sometimes.....try unlocking it again.... If that's not it we'll need some more info

91ls400
To temporarily close the trunk, try bugee cording the deck to the muffler support hooks, I had to do this once whlie I was working on my trunk, it doesnt look good, but it gets the job done!
