Radar Wire Help Needed

Posted this on another part of the forum, so I apologize for doing it twice, but think I was in wrong area.

Need help finding a switched live and good ground in the garage door/light/roof panel for my GS 300 to hard wire my Escort Radar Dector. Anyone help me. Tx Machog

i hard wired mine into the cigarette lighter power and ground wires.

(not in my LS, in the Eclipse i used to have), but you can do it in any car, just take apart the assembly and splice into the wires, solder for a good connection

I hid all the wires.. looked really clean
