JM ES300 92
Hello: I'm triying to upgrade my all leather steering wheel for the one with wood and leather and i am considering to buy a ES300 1999 wood and leather steering wheeel to put it in my ES300 92. Do you believe it will fit? If not, which year will fit? Thanks in advance
SW03ES
Not going to fit for a couple of reasons. One, you'll need to buy the airbag module from the 00/01 (99 had no leather wheel), and that will cost a lot, unless you can find it new. Two, the 00/01 has second generation airbags, meaning they employ a two stage deployment algorithm, the system on your 92 is not compatible. What I reccomend is www.american-stitches.com they do a great job. You buy a cheap wheel to use while you send yours in, they completely recover it in leather and add the wood. All at a good price. Check it out.
lex
you can get this wood steering wheel from lexus-parts.com for $795 for a 92 ES300. http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetail.asp?...ubCategoryID=
SW03ES
That looks like American Stitches' wheel just marked up and resold. Go to this link http://www.american-stitches.com/amstitche...ges/index2.html Its the same picture. Actually the Lexus Parts site even says its from American Stitches. I garuntee if you go direct it'll be cheaper.
