Tylermng
I have an 2000 RX300. Recently the throttle needs excessive force to be depressed while at rest. It seems to get worse as the car warms up. I lubed up the entire cable and throttle assemblies. It didnt do much good. Is there any way to adjust the cable? It seems kind of loose. I see a set screw on the throttle. Will this tighten up the cable. The throttle itself iseems fine, its just the resistance on the initial depression of the pedal. Any ideas? jbarhorst2
I agree. I had the same problem on my '97 SC300. Once I cleaned the throttle body everything was smooth again. Tom
