Chirping

I searched and found out that I'm not the only one with chirping device problem.

I went to Lexus dealership for service and talked to a tech about my problem and when I went to pick up my car he told me it does not have the part and I have to order it,

I know it used to chirp, so I need to know that where is located, so I can figure it out he just wanted to charge me for nothing or somehow its been lost.

As far as I know LX450 doesn't have a knob for that matter, you can turn the buzzer off and on by remote.

I never tried to track it down.

I think it's in the engine compartment somewhere -- I'd guess driver's side.

i think another member mentioned the chirper is behind the bumper

mine is on the right side of the engine bay

I assume you're talking about the chirper for the alarm. Mine is located in the corner of the engine compartment (drivers side by the firewall). It just kind of hangs down by the top of the wheel well. It is red, about the diameter of a quarter and about a 1/2" deep, with the appropriate wiring coming off the back.
