Anybody Knows What This Part Is?

While changing my rear strut cartridges I noticed this part. The one with the spring.

It seems to alter the braking bias left to right based on the roll of the car but I'm just guessing here. Help please.

you are right the spring adusts brake bias according to the weight in the rear of the vehicle to its pitch and dive angle

it is only on 92-93 models
