kjasthi
I own a 1999 RX300. I had a new battery installed in April 2004. I have used the vehile all summer. I havnt used it for 2 months (was parked in the driveway). Today when I went near the vehicle, there was no response to remote unlock button. So I manually unlocked. As I opened the door I noticed the door lights did not turn on and when I put the key in the ignition, nothing happend. No power in the dash board too. So I decided to jump start. Still nothing worked. I removed the Battery, took it to the shop and they gave me a brand new one. I came home, put the new one in, made the proper connections. Still no power. Can some one guide me about this problem? Thanks.

bartkat
Maybe also test the battery. Sometimes they forget to activate them.
