I apologize if I'am posting it twice, I could not find the first posting... so here we go...

I bought a LS400 1990 with 128.000 miles in it.

What kind of work should I do to it? It seems that nothing has been done to it as of yet.

Can I hose off a cold engine with some degreaser?

Ist here a site that I can buy tune up parts more affordably than the dealer?

I does not have CD player. what is the best way to add one?

It seems that the power steering hose is leaking, Is it hard to get and replace those?

Any advise? Hints and tips will be greatly appreciated. thanks

first question is whe is the last timing belt change done

second fix that leak of the ps fluid especially if it is near the pump

it will dmage other parts namely the alternator form what i have read

there are many degreasers just follow there instructions on the can

also cover the alternator with a bag

depends on parts wanted for tune ups plugs you can get anywhere

other stuff it all depends

personally the oem from lexus usually is not that pricey but what you get in quality of parts it is well worth it

is there no cd button on the deck?

spend a little more money now and save a whole lot later

a lexus i find likes to be babied

treat it right and replace a part before it breaks ad nothgin else will

just like a chains weakest link

I found out my Timing Belt was replaced at 90K miles .

I guess it is good fo anothe 60K....
