JDOwen2
Car died on the way home Tuesday. Had alternator tested and was informed that it had no output. Lexus wanted $600.00, Checker $188.00. Had it rebuilt for $140.00 at Genco in Mesa, Az. The owner showed me the armature. It was soaked with oil and the front bearing surface had a groove wore into it. Put it in and all is well. jbarhorst2
Since you have a 300 you may need to replace your distributor o-ring. That could be where your leak is coming from. Or, it could be the valve cover. Tom
