dommm
I have a Samsung Galaxy A02s cell. I have both android auto & google maps installed on my cell. I connect my cell to my car screen using the cars USB plug in the center consol. I then choose menu & then android auto option that is given on my car screen which then mirrors my cell screen with the google maps to the car screen. Once connected, the google map shows on the car screen. The problem I am running into is that my cell constantly (every 10 seconds or so) shows the battery charging notification with the amount of cell battery charge. Every time the notification comes to my cell, it shuts off the google maps on the car screen. Once the cell notification completes, the google map will again load on the car screen only to be shut off once again when my cell shows the battery notification. This notification is non stop which makes using the google map useless because the google map keeps shutting down only to reload again for a short few seconds until another battery notification comes. My cell battery is usually in the 95% or higher charged range so it not because of a low battery issue/warning. Is there a way to turn off the battery charging notification on my Galaxy A02s? Thanks
RX400h
CoPilot: Quote It sounds like a frustrating issue! Unfortunately, the battery charging notification on the Samsung Galaxy A02s is a default feature that can't be disabled through the phone's settings. However, there are a few things you can try: Check for Software Updates: Make sure your phone's software is up to date, as updates can sometimes fix bugs or improve compatibility with Android Auto. Use a Different Cable/Charger: Sometimes, using a different USB cable or charger can help reduce the frequency of the notification. Disable Adaptive Battery: Go to Settings > Battery and turn off Adaptive Battery. This might help reduce the frequency of the notification. Contact Samsung Support: If the issue persists, reaching out to Samsung support might provide additional solutions or workarounds.

I did an update & also turned off Adaptive Battery as you suggested. Because the constant notification only happens when using the USB port in the RX console but not when using the same cable & plugging the cell into my laptop or wall socket (using the adapter) I'm guessing the cable is not the issue but if the above 2 ideas do not help I will try another cable. Again thanks for your time.
Lexus-CT
There are very few things in Samsung phones that cannot be removed with https://www.packagedisabler.com/ It is a paid app and it does function. Only app I have found efficient without needing a rooted phone. Since Android 14 more built-in app's are a bit easier to remove or block than before, but the disabler is easy to use. Buy the version that is only for Samsung phones. Have used it many years and in the beginning it was on Google Play Store, but being too efficient in the eyes of the companies putting bloat (spam) on the phones it no longer is there. Google is in the game to make money. Still use it on the Samsung phones in family. Removing factory built-in Facebook, Google Assistant and a lot of other apps that are nothing but time wasters.
