Is Purchasing a used RX400h a good idea?

I'm helping my daughter find a good used AWD vehicle.  The RX400h is in her price range and there are several for sale that at least look good, all with over 100K to 170K miles.  RX400h owners this a good idea?  If so, what should one look for?  What should one avoid?  Or is buying a high mileage used one a bad idea?

Hello, Jim. There are some on this forum that have over 200,000 and even 250,000 miles on them. Ours has approximately 135,000 miles on it and has been bulletproof. 
Always make sure that the recommended maintenance has been done. You can find the requirements on the internet if not in this forum.

Also try to verify that the rear floor in front of the back seats has not been used for long-term storage of anything that could block the air intake vents at the bottom of the seats. Doing so can reduce the life of the hybrid batteries.
