tak06 Posted May 17, 2023 Share Posted May 17, 2023 Hi a newbie to this Forum, I'm confused in regards to a timing belt or chain on a 2008 RX350, I've always believed that the 2007 and above RX with the 3.5 L engine has a timing chain yet on this Forum someone stated that it has a belt, perhaps the belt is exclusive to the RX400H and not the regular RX350 ? RX400h Posted May 18, 2023 Share Posted May 18, 2023 The RX400h uses a timing belt because a belt does last longer in a vehicle that is not running for some or much of the time, depending upon traffic conditions and locations.
