Timing belt or chain

Hi a newbie to this Forum, I'm confused in regards to a timing belt or chain on a 2008 RX350, I've always believed  that the 2007 and above RX with the 3.5 L engine has a timing chain

yet on this Forum someone stated that it has a belt, perhaps the belt is exclusive to the RX400H and not the regular RX350 ?

You are correct. timing chain on 2007 & up 3.5 engines . Hybrids ???

The RX400h uses a timing belt because a belt does last longer in a vehicle that is not running for some or much of the time, depending upon traffic conditions and locations.

 Also, belts are typically quieter than chains.

Yes all the 400h from 06 to 08 have the 3.3 engine that carried over from the 330 which has the timing belt

My 07 RX400h has about 86,000 miles and hasn't had the timing belt changed yet... How concerned should I be?
