Es300 Check Engine Light ?

95 ES300 check engine light is on, Tried to short points TE1 and E1

at the diagnostic connector under the hood to read the code(s), But

the CEL does not blink at all, Looked at the diagnostic connector

under the dash and it does not have a TE1 or E1 points listed.

any ideas ?

like sk stated, go to Autozone or the like to have it read for free.
