wilhunt Posted October 4, 2004 Share Posted October 4, 2004 I have 97 SC400. I want to replace the driving or fog ligts with blue halogen. I can not figure out how to get to bulbs. I can reach the passenger side and I get the socket out but there is no bulb, only wired going into the light fixture. The drivers side is obstructed with some tubing. grnsc40095 Posted October 4, 2004 Share Posted October 4, 2004 wilhunt, The bulb is being held in place by a metal clasp. But *DO NOT OPEN THE CLASP, This keeps the bulb in place and out of your way. First disconnect the wire from the socket. To open the clasp, I believe you push down and it will unfasten. The foglight wire maybe snug in the socket. I had to wiggle and tug, until I jarred it loose. I found it much easier to get at both foglight compartments when I took off the front tires.
