Venissa Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 I have a 2001 RX300. Check Engine, VSC and the Trac light all came on this morning. Took it to Advance Auto Parts and their check system came back with the following: P1130 Manfacurer Contrl Fuel Air Metering Anyone know what these mean or what it will take to fix?
RX in NC Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Looks like it's your Air/Fuel Ratio sensor (also called the Bank 1 sensor). Your Lexus dealer will replace it for about $400. You can order one from oxygensensors.com and do it yourself for about half that.
Venissa Posted September 17, 2004 Author Posted September 17, 2004 Do you know if it is bad to drive it until I get it fixed?
RX in NC Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Driving it is fine. But I wouldn't go too long without getting the problem resolved.

I checked out the oxygensensors.com site and loaded the requested info --- they came up with four part numbers, two of which "requires two (2)" at $200.+ each... Think a shop manual whould be a good investment for me, is one available???
