The mirror housing cover trim was badly damaged, the mirror came out but was stopped from falling by electrical wiring. Mirror was not damaged neither was outside color trim. Re-snapped mirror into adjustment holder and tested operation. The mirrors is fully functional. Went to my dealer Rorich Lexus, Pittsburgh for a quote. They do not repair only replace complete unit. They quoted $1536+tax. Did I mention Drivers Door Mirror fully functional. When selecting Lexus I expected great quality, reliability and reasonable pricing for parts and service. RX400h Posted April 3, 2023 Share Posted April 3, 2023 Unfortunately, gone are the days of $200 side view mirrors unless they are purchased from an auto salvage yard.
