Maxximus747 Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Does anyone know why I would have half the lights on the radio and climate control and radom places not working. Is there or are there bulbs that needs replacing or fuse. I'm trying to avoid going to the dealer. Thanks for any help on this issue
lexusk8 Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Seeing burnt out bulbs behind the center console controls is nothing new for the ES. Usually the older the ES, the more prone you are to get burnt out bulbs. Replacement of the bulbs requires you to pull out the climate control and/or stereo head units, and unscrewing the face plates to reveal the bulbs from behind. What year is your ES? I have done the bulb replacement on my '01 ES for the climate control unit, and if the year of your ES is '97-'01, I'll be glad to tell you how to do it :)
Maxximus747 Posted September 15, 2004 Author Posted September 15, 2004 I have a 97 ES300. Thanks for your help... I see some ES 300 with day time running lights Do they all have D.R.L or was that deal installed option
SKperformance Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 no it is an option on all years As it is law in Canada and can be ordered
