2002 Gs430 Starting Up Problem?

I just recently purchased a 2002 gs430 and i'm loving it. But one thing i noticed that everytime i start the car, it doesn't want to start up right away. Its stall (like battery problem) for about 2 secs then start up. It is normal or is that a problem that needs looking into? Anyone experience this?

Might be the transponder chip in the key taking its time.
