RonW Posted August 29, 2004 Posted August 29, 2004 While cleaning my car the other day and trying to get yellowing off lenses, after trying all the different pollishes and cleaners I had, I noticed a liitle product I had not used in years call "GEL-GLOSS" its a fibergalss, marble and acrylic cleaner. I thought I would give it try on those yellow lenses, and to my surprise it took the yellowing away and I didn't even have to rub hard, I dont know if they still make it but if anyone is interested I will post all the info I have. Good Luck.
RonW Posted August 29, 2004 Author Posted August 29, 2004 I guess they do still make it-Here is asite that sells it. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/dotcoms/12ozgelglae2.html
jeremyquinn Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I just got a 94 GS300 and I have some yellowing....does this occur on the inside or outside of the light? If it's on the inside, is it hard to take apart to clean it?
SKperformance Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Their is a good amount of yellowing on and inside the light as well as the actual plastic becoming yellowed from UV which can;t be fixed.
