Junior_ES300
18s still rub, i put 18s on my 93 es300 and had to get the guards rolled which was a bad idea unless you cut the lip into 1 inch sections then fold up. if you dont cut the lip you get 2 little dents from where the screw holes for the plastic under guard are, so now im just gonna get them flared. SKperformance
You have the wonrg offset or tire size. I have 18's with no problems ,ever.
branshew
Can you get a suspension lift kit for the ES? Maybe you could just get a brush and paint the tire on the rim instead. I'm sure you could find a way to fit 20's but you can kiss any resemblance of a decent ride goodbye.
SKperformance
I think we scared him away, he hasn;t been back since i answered, oopps Their have been a handful of ES300's in the states that have 20's on. they look like !Removed! and are so high in the air they might as well have a lift kit as well as they stick so far out their is no way they don;t eat the rubber,

dhartfl@yahoo.com
Hey there. Sorry to drag up this old thread, but...Just bought a 99 ES 300 (152k miles) and I love the look, the ride, and the interior. My only issue is my 6 ft 4 in tall frame does not enjoy getting in and out of it so much -- killer on my old knees. Sounds like 18" rims will help a little, but is there a lift kit out there for this car that would help even more?
