ekarlsso Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 So i recently discovered some quite significant scratches on my drivers side rearview mirror... :cries: i was wondering what the best way to get them out is...i have heard there are a number of new products with "nanotechnology" to help fix them, but that just might be my inexperience with this sort of thing... any suggestions? I can post pics of the scratches if that would help figure out what to do about them... Cheers!
SW03ES Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Post pics of the scratches. Unfortunately deep scratching must be painted to be repaired totally.
David_Ostroff Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 You should read this article on www.bettercarcare.com. You should read the articles on using Porter Cable 7424 polisher and using clya. These will both help you resolve your issues with scratches. The method depends on the depth of the scratch or swirl mark. Good luck
