TomP
Hi: I'm new to the forum. Looks like a really great place. I have a 1999 LS 400. Recently I had body work done, the front right fender and part of the bumper were repaired. When I got the car back I noticed that the headlights weren't working right. Before the repair when the lights went on the motors would drive the lights down then up to normal level. Now they go up then down and stay there. The lights are only illuminating about 10 feet in front of the car. I don't think the body shop guy knows what's wrong or what he did wrong. He wants to take the manual adjustments and set the lights to the right level. I don't think that's the way they are suppose to work. There must be a sensor or something that levels the headlights automatically that's not working right. Any help would be appreciated. TomP
That could be jzz30 but I don't know where this sensor is. I was hoping someone could tell me where to find it. Thanks. TomP
UCF3
It sounds like the bodyshop put the assembly in wrong. Did they replace the Light Housings or just fixed the previous ones?
TomP
Actually the lights weren't damaged and they didn't have to replace them. They were working the right way before I brought it in.
