Hey guys i just bought a 2001 is 300, it didn't come with a user manual so i'm wondering how to program the garage door opener. Any guides anywhere?

Also if someone be so kind to tell me whats the recommend scheduled maintenance for the car?

manuals:

go to www.lexus.com, register as a new owner, and then you can request a free owners manual and supplemental owners manual. Suggested maint. schedule is in the supplemental manual.

as for the homelink:

press and hold the button you want to program until it flashes slow. Holding the garage door opener about 2-5 inches away and in front (next to the windshield) of the homelink buttons, press the door opener button until the light for the homelink button flashes fast. you should be GTG at that point.

If your IS300 garage door opener buttons still do not work after following Steviej's instructions, your openers probably use a "rolling code" security feature. Follow the next set of instructions in the owners manual which require pressing a button on the garage door opener motor housing (it might light up a diode or bulb on the housing) and then pressing the opener button on your car. This 2nd set of instructions is also in the owners manual which you can also view on-line at www.lexus.com after registering.
