2000 Rx300 Paint Color Code...

hello all,

if anybody could answer this question for me, it would be greatly appreciated. i currently have a 2000 rx300 in the mineral opalescent green color, with the two toned so that the bottom half of hte car as well as the bumper is a dark grey color. i am looking to purchase an aftermarket "running board" so i hafta supply the paint code to the supplier. i tried to do research on it through google but came up emtpy. does anybody know the official name of the greyish dark color, or better yet, the paint code? any help will be appreciated. thank you for your time.

just have your VIN # handy and call your local lexus dealer..........they can pull the color code right off hand ;)

look on the sticker that is on the driver's door jam. The color codes should be there.

The 2000 color codes for the RX are:

057-Golden Pearl

1C0-Millenium Silver

202-Black Onyx

3M8-Venetian Red

3N6-Dk Red Mica

4P2-Burnished Gold

6R1-Green

6R6-Grayish Green

8M8-Blue Mica

I don't know what the color codes are for the cladding, but if you find your body color code on the door jam, the other will be the cladding.

Another way to find it:

Register you vehicle on www.lexus.com. Under Onwer's Registration

You will get a listing of the options installed at time of production and the colors.

(you can even get an owner's manual for free.)

go to DuPont, I think. That's wat my bodyshop used when they repaired my Rx300 from the accident. They did a good job gettin the 2nd lower color matched like original, so good, at any angle u couldn't tell the difference in the color, unlike the cars of other ppl that u can see sometimes where the accident was becuz the color wasn't matched perfectly.

Man I having been trying to order some touch up paint from AutoVisuals.com (AutoSharp pen) for MONTHES!! I can't find the code anywhere.

I've emailed them and they never reply. I have a 202 Black Onxy but can't find out the lower cladding color. I even supply them with the Lexus Part Number for the lower cladding.

If you find out how to determine what color our lower cladding is PLEASE let me know.
