gco Posted July 25, 2004 Share Posted July 25, 2004 Hello all, my trunk light on my 99 gs 400 only comes on when I us the key to physically open it. gco Posted August 3, 2004 Author Share Posted August 3, 2004 I took apart the trunk latch assembly cover to discover the metal connector that activates the light when the trunk is opened had some sort of dirt film on it. I cleaned the metal off and lubed the latch assembly, had no problem since the lights in the trunk comes on whe n the trunk is opened with the remote. Thanks for the help.
