streetkit
Is there any special procedure in bleeding the brakes on a 95 LS400? Anything unusual that I need to be aware of before I attempt it? Thanks

tansupplyman
Basically same as every car---just DON'T let the master cyl run out of fluid. need 2 people; 3 better[unless you have a 'sucker']~~~~~~~that is a MECHANICAL sucker; then you still don't let the fluid run out. If air gets in the ABS due to fluid run out--it is tough to get out.
streetkit
I suspect that there is some air in my system as the brake pedal is pretty soft. Brakes work great but the pedal seems soft and goes a little to low for my taste. Of course I'm comparing it to my SC400 which may not be a good thing to do. The previous owner had the master cylinder replaced about two or three months before I bought the car. However, it was done by a Pontiac dealer????? :whistles: :o (I guess the service manager was a friend of his) So I was wondering if they screwed up. tansupplyman
according to some threads here softness and low actuation is normal; you could type brakes into search.
